if so please tell me what you thought about the movie!. i saw it and it was a good movie!. if this movie came out 15 to 20 yrs ago i would have a problem with mixed couplesWww@Enter-QA@Com

The movie isn't what I'd call a hit, but it lives up the hype it gives itself!.
My OWN personal opinion on this movie is I would recommend it!.
A good balance of action and a pretty good plot, I think it ends a little too fast but it had some very good moments that just had me wondering!

If you take the movie apart you can find a few things!. On the negative side, some will find that the movie is a little drawn out and long!. For the most part, the story fit well; but if there was a way to compress the storyline, it would have increased in my eyes!. The ending was a good one, and I look forward to possible alternate endings on the DVD/BR; however, in the essence of the story it may be a bit over the top!.
The acting was spot on!. I have seen some arguments that the white guy and his black wife were not strong enough characters!. You have to ask yourself though, would you do whatever you wanted or call the police if you had a neighbor like Samuel L!. Jackson's character!. Probably not!. So the acting was believable!. also, Sam had me hating him the entire movie!. It was almost like watching Sanaa Lathan in The Family that Preys, or Denzel in Training Day!. You can't help but loathe him the whole time!.
The one thing that would have made this movie great would be one or 2 SLJ typical rants!. I just needed one "I am the muthaf**kin' police" or something along those lines!. Not constantly, but just one or 2!. I did enjoy the fire metaphor with the movie!. For those of you who watch movies artistically, you will see what I mean!.
Overall, the suspense and action were appropriate!. I think some people went in hoping Sam Jackson and the neighbor would get into this crazy firefight, maybe some sh*t blows up, and everyone dies!. This doesn't happen, and the movie is actually really good!. I would pay full admission again!. "Www@Enter-QA@Com
