Newman had a face that could have been lifted off a Roman coin!. The fact is, he was gorgeous, but what made him even more attractive is the fact that he didn't trade on his looks!. he was all about the work and it shows!. He's a prime example of what aging with grace and dignity can and should mean(of course,it helps when you have a puss like that to start with)! That said, not only was he a Gent in the best sense of the word he was one of the last MOVIE STARS who was also an actor to reckon with!. He could and did hold his own with the best of them and had the grace to able to laugh at himself,taking out an ad once to apologize for one of his very early films,The Silver Chalice!. I think y favorite of his performances was in The Verdict!. He really went out on a limb and it worked for the character!. That's what a pro does!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

As much as I admire Paul Newman, I don't think he ever was better looking than Robert Redford! He always was an attractive man, but Redford had him beat in the looks department and even has fantastic blue eyes, too!Www@Enter-QA@Com
