What are the most disturbing movies you've ever seen?!
Question: What are the most disturbing movies you've ever seen!?
For me it's "The Untold Story", "Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom" and "Cannibal Holocaust!."Www@Enter-QA@Com
Answers:
Saw
Hostel
Schindlers List
The Pianist
All movies show mans inhumanity to man!. Disturbing on different levels!. Hostel and Saw were just plain insane!. Schindlers List and the Pianist showed actual events of the Holocaust!. The worst scene for me in Schindlers List was when Jewish people were being vanquished from their homes and the German citizens were taunting and spitting on the Jewish people!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I encourage you to check out all of these from your public library network:
Triumph of the Will (1935, German, dir Leni Riefenstahl) The most controversial documentary of them all: there's Adolph Hitler and his propaganda henchman, Dr Franz Joseph Goebbels, among others, ranting to the appreciative and obedient crowds, spreading their evil!. Riefenstahl's photography is absolutely stunning!. Her intimate portraits of ordinary people, from children to townspeople to workers to soldiers, should be studied by any budding cinematographer!. And if that isn't enough, those huge phalanxes and matrices of soldiers and workers that the propaganda ministry assembled for filming are jaw dropping!.
Silence of the Lambs (1991) My heart was still pounding 10 minutes after the credits stopped rolling!. Lecter's penetration of Clarice Starling's soul, and her subsequent helplessness in the climactic scenes are amazing!.
The Crying Game (1992)!. I knew in my gut that something was off, so as the secret was revealed, it left me quite edgy!.
Thoroughly disturbing and awesome: Shoah (1985)!. This documentary is 8 hours of recollection - without a frame of stock Nazi film footage - by survivors of the Holocaust of World War II!. "If you could lick my heart, it would poison you!"
Requiem for a Dream (2000) As the audience, (so long as we choose to keep watching), we are helpless to stop a dysfunctional family's descent into the living hell of addictive drug dependency!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
