Question: Could Lazenby have been the best Bond!?
I know he only did one film, though he was contracted for 7!. But if he had stuck with it did he have the potential to blow the others away!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Perhaps, Director Peter Hunt thought he was a good Bond and the producers at the time thought he did fairly well!.
Unfortunately the film didn't make nearly as much money at the box office as its predecessor "You Only Live Twice" and the head of United Artist at the time, wanted Sean Connery back as Bond because Connery was still a big box-office draw!. And that's the name of the game, making money!.
And in 1971 for "Diamond Are Forever", he got his wish before Roger Moore took over as Bond in 1973 for 'Live & Let Die"!.

IMHO, Lazenby was the reason 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' wasn't very good!. I enjoyed the story of this movie, but the Bond was not good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
