Why is the wicker man different to other horror films?!

Question: Why is the wicker man different to other horror films!?
Answers:
The main difference is the "goodie" in the film (Edward Woodward's policeman character) is killed!. In most horror movies the good, virtuous characters normally triumph over the evil, immoral etc!. It makes for a shocking, unexpected twist that makes the film overall more interesting and memorable than your average predictable "good beats bad" plot!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

because it could be true!.it takes small town mentality and turns it around with religion and cults and most of the horror takes place during the daylight so it proves you don't have to have darkness to be a scary creepy film!.and the ending well one of the best endings to any film so disturbing and chillingWww@Enter-QA@Com

because religion can be very confusing and it can drive people to kill others and also insted of just one bad guy theres a whole town !.!.!.arrrrWww@Enter-QA@Com
