Why does the MPAA accept so many movies?!
Question: Why does the MPAA accept so many movies!?
Seriously!. The MPAA let all the movies like 'An American Carol', 'Flash of genius', and 'How to lose friends and alienate people' get green lit and the people let them go through wide release!? Why!. They are terrible!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The MPAA doesn't accept movies, it only sticks an official rating label on them!. If the MPAA refused to rate the movie, it would just go to theaters unrated!. Some theaters won't show unrated movies, but that's very few theaters - if it's an indie movie, it can get away without a rating (like March of the Penguins) for a while!.
Besides, it's only your idea that certain movies are terrible!. 'Flash of Genius' is a generic feel-good entrepeneur/historical/legal movie, and American Carol looks pretty funny (C'mon, I know people all across the political spectrum who hate Michael Moore)!. Have you even seen the movies in question yet!? IIRC, all three have been out for either only a few days to a week and a half - did you really see three movies you completely hated in that short an amount of time!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Um, it's an industry group that "rates" movies according to an accepted scale so that they can get shown!. (some theaters and chains won't show nonrated or unrated movies)
Movie companies pay 'em--on a sliding scale I hear depending on ability to pay!. Pay to rerate if they cut the film down!.!.!.
If unrated it's usually to save money or go straight to video!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
