Film will still be available as there are many cameras still in use and the simplicity of the technology ensures that these cameras will not become obsolete!. It's kind of like how you can still buy floppy disks and VHS tapes, even though they are obsolete, because so many disk drives and VCRs are still around!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think that nothing ever truly disappears!. Without a doubt, digital medium is the wave of the future and more and more will make the switch as it improves and cheapens, but there will always be someone who holds on to the old!. Contrary to Harbinger's answer, they have stopped mass production and sales of vhs tapes, the same as they did with audio cassette tapes ten years ago when cds finally took over!. VCRs are actually getting more and more expensive since there are fewer made every year!. Still, there are those that hold on like my friend who swears that music has never improved since they stopped making 45 records!. but he still uses an 8-track at home and plays his original nintendo entertainment system every week!. I think that in the same way, there are or will be those that say only film is any good and that digital doesn't maintain the soul of pictures, but they are the minority and the onward rush of civilization can't be stopped!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
