Okay all you film buffs (or movie buffs if you're American)
I think this was a British film, from the good old days of Pinewood Studios - probably the 1950s!. It's about a blind woman being pursued around her home by a man who wants her dead because she was a witness to a crime!. It takes place at night and she levels the playing field by removing all the light bulbs - but she comes a cropper when she hears the fridge door open!.!.!.
