Well, An Inconvenient Truth is not a Michael Moore film, so yes!. I don't think there's anything wrong with 'liberal' films!.!.!. but if they wanted to show my child a Michael Moore film in school, I would definitely be annoyed!. I would have a long talk with my child about not believing everything they hear, because Michael Moore is a filmmaker first and a truth-teller last!. (Seriously, do some research on him!.!.!. the guy is full of it!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com
No this is all opinion and supposition and not based any firm science!. It is very hard to say they have firm scientific proof when we only have 135 years of meteorological data and the Earth has been here for millions of years!. This is supposed to be science class right!? I would, but what happened here in FLA is that teachers were showing the movies like "Farenheit 9/11" and "Inconvenient Truth" without telling the parents, and all kinds of hell came from that!

Yes!. Children need to see the viewpoints and facts from all angles!. Even if I did not fully agree with them, why hold someone's viewpoint back while showing another!? It is selective to filter viewpoints (parent or by law/school board) and can cause more harm than good overtime; making them feel complacent or that the current or previous establishments already have the problems figured out!. If the kids see two conflicting viewpoints, it will get them asking questions, which they should be doing, instead of spoon feeding them one viewpoint, they can chew on more than one viewpoint!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Of course I would allow them to watch it!. Even if you do not totally agree with the viewpoint, there are valid points in each!. Your children should be able to see all the facts and make their own decisions, even if their viewpoints may differ from your own!. It's a harsh reality but a reality none the less!. If you never ate anything but oatmeal raisin cookies you would never know how good or bad chocolate chip cookies may be!. We all want our children to be well rounded and understanding, teaching them at a young age is a good start!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
