LOVE this question!! ^_^ My favorite horror movies are from these eras (I'm a child of the 80's)!. Here are some of my favorites!.
First off!. Dolls!. They scare me and "Dolly Dearest" helped aid in the notion that dolls are evil vile creatures!. If you haven't seen it, check it out!. There is another evil doll movie titled "dolls" but it didn't scare me like Dolly Dearest did!.
"The Changeling" and "Burn Offerings" are two fantastic haunted house movies!.!.!.!.of course you have the granddaddy of haunted house movies with the original "Amityville Horror"
Great Werewolf movies in "An American Werewolf in London" and "The Howling" (stay AWAY from the sequels! gag!.)
I also loved "Children of the Corn" "Poltergeist" and!.!.of course, "The Exorcist"!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I remember one from the 70's called 'Happy Birthday to Me' - It stared someone who looked very much like the big sister from Little House On the Prairie - the sister who went blind!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
