Apocalypse Now - Enough said!.
The spate of Vietnam films in the mid to late 80's were pretty good!. I liked the 50-50 training/war contrast in Full Metal Jacket and Platoon comes to mind for the quality of acting!. Saving Private Ryan made a very good and watchable film out of, what seemed at first, rather tame subject matter!. But all said - Apocalypse Now, as perfect war film I think you're likely to see!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
