I love the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, the Royal Tennanbaums, the Darjeeling Limited, etc!. Wes Anderson's movies with Jason Schwartzman and Owen Wilson are really good and quirky!. Those are all basically the same movie but if you like that kind of style, you'll enjoy all of them!. I don't know how much of an Indie film the Big Lebowski is but I would recommend that also since it's quirky in a dark, stupid kind of way (and Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers is in it and he makes a hilarious, spastic Neo-Nazi)!.
