Is Terrence Howard going to play James Rhodes/War Machine in "Iron Man II" or is he going to be replaced by that weirdo Don Cheadle!? I hope not because Cheadle would ruin it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Before "Iron Man" was released, Howard said in a television interview that he had signed a contract to appear in all three Iron Man movies!. Howard also said that he couldn't turn down a chance to play a "Black super-hero," and was clearly enthused about the prospect of playing War Machine (although he didn't specifically state anything about War Machine)!. I would discount any rumors or "information" about anyone replacing Howard as James Rhodes!.
For the record, I don't consider "The Hollywood Reporter" to be a reliable source since that rag has a decades long history of often being mistaken!. When the second Iron Man movie starts shooting, if Howard isn't there to play Rhodes then I will believe the Reporter!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Oscar-nominated actor is out of his role as Jim "Rhodey" Rhodes, Tony Stark's BFF and would-be flying partner War Machine, in Iron Man 2, after negotiations with Marvel fell through, per the Hollywood Reporter, due to "financial differences!."
Don Cheadle has been tapped as Howard's replacement for the second go-round, in which Rhodes and his heroic alter ego War Machine get a much meatier part!.
But while Howard is out, the rest of the players remain unchanged!.
Robert Downey Jr!. is, of course, back as the titular metal-suited man, and Gwyneth Paltrow is also expected to reprise the role of his assistant, Pepper Potts!. Jon Favreau returns to the director's chair!.
