Has this type of scene in movies become cliché?!
Question: Has this type of scene in movies become cliché!?
Picture a man nonchalantly walking away from a bomb that suddenly explodes!. Even after the explosion, he continues to walk nonchalantly which establishes that he was responsible for the explosion and is emotionally unaffected by it!.
I've seen it in Syriana, with George Clooney!.
In No Country for Old Men, with Javier Bardem!.
In Iron Man, with Robert Downey Jr!.
I think there are other movies that employed it, but you get the point!. Has it been overused or is it just me!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

When audiences start greeting such scenes with catcalls and whistling, then you can say they are cliched!. At this point, audiences will still accept the "no reaction to an explosion" scene, although such scenes are overused!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, way over used movie cliche!.
Another big cliche I realized in movies I own is: A person screams while they are dying and eventually their skull continues to scream!.
Hellboy, T2, Indiana Jones!.
I wonder how many movies "your" cliche is in and how many movies have both!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

here's an even more cliche scene
the bad guy has a gun pointed at the unarmed good guy
then the bad guy starts talking on and on about all his plans
the bad guy is distracted and either
the good guy finds a way to kill the bad guy
or
somebody comes in and kills the bad guy
