yes it was based on a true story!.!.!.i remember researching it from a project and i even found the original recordings on her when she was having an exorsicm!.!.!.!.its quite a sad story really as this was a nice,smart girl and she got possessed!.!.!.!.
and the best part of the film is where she is all in white and god says to her "i can end it all now and you can come with me to heaven or you can stay on earth possessed so that you could share your story!."!.!.and of course she stayed!.!.!.
but when she was telling ppl about what happened,no one believed her!.!.
the film has added a few bits to make it more of a scary movie!.!.but she wasnt called emily rose in real life!.!.!.who name was anneliese michel and died in 1976,she was 23!.!.
