I actually think they did a decent job on the movie and find it disappointing that they start a series and don't continue it!. I love Jeremy Irons- he was awesome!. I don't really care if it follows the book to a T or not- few movies ever do!. You have to watch it as a "version" or someone's interpretation of a story since if they made it exact the movies would usually be 4-6 hours or more!.

I'd like to see the rest made into movies- and I prefer they keep the cast since I hate it when they change everything from one to the next!.

I thought the exact same thing while I was reading Eragon because, unfortunately, I watched the movie first!. I watched it again after finishing the book and realized what a travesty it was!. I have never been that disappointed with a book to movie adaptation!. They should absolutely re-film the movie with a whole new script that is faithful to the book!. The movies have the potential to be amazing if done right!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The books were interesting, but written pretty poorly!. Christopher Paolini was very young and allowed himself to be overly influenced by other stories of our time!. There are certain elements that seem not to be from his imagination, but rather from Tolkien's or Lucas's!. I think the movies were made just as well as the books, which is to say, not very well at all!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it defiantly need to be redone!. When your not comparing is to the book the movie is pretty good!. But the books are just so Intense the movie just doesn't live up to that and it leaves out a lot of important information!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Remember Anthony Horowitz's "Stormbreaker" movie!? They never redo!. That would be really insulting to the cast, and to the director!. I wish they would, though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its not the only one because most movies based on books are always lacking!. HP 5 was and i suspect Twilight will be too!.!.!.!.!. :(Www@Enter-QA@Com
