It's a good film, but David Lean made better films (Brief Encounter, and Great Expectations)!. Everything about the film is great, except the historical inaccuracies sank the film, for me, though, I'm a stickler for realism!. If you can ignore those than you will find it to be an incredible film!.
Just make certain you don't get a wide-screen version, watch it letter-boxed, if you don't you'll be missing half the film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's a terrific David Lean film!. He specialized in story telling on a large canvas which is odd,because the smaller,more intimate scenes in the film are equally riviting!. The sheer scope of the film and the cinamatography is a wonder!. Too bad you can't see it in the theater like I did,because it's one of those sweeping epics that they just don't make anymoreWww@Enter-QA@Com
