Question: I need help with a movie im trying to write!.!?
the movie starts off with 4 guys and 4 girls going up north to a cabin for a weekend to snowboard and party!. then i want to turn it into a horror or thriller but i cant think of how to introduce a killer or monster or something!. so please if u have any ideas i would seriously put u in the credits if u could help meWww@Enter-QA@Com

Dear, if you can't figure out the main turning point of the story on your own, you aren't going to be able to write a very successful movie, aren't you!?
I think you need to start over from scratch!. Write an outline for each character, then write an outline for the story itself!. That includes the main plot and how/when you're going to introduce the killer!. THEN you can start writing!.
If someone else tells you what kind of killer there's going to be, when it's going to be introduced, and how it's going to be introduced, then THEY would essentially be the writers of the story, not you!. That is because they wrote the main idea for the story!. They could potentially sue you for the rights to the film, if you ever happen to produce it or publish it in any way!. If you're going to write a film, you've got to sit down and think about it; plan it out!. Get into it, man!. Don't sit on the computer!
**But anyway, to kind of give you a hint, try thinking about all of the horror movies you've seen!.!.!. what do they all have in common!? When you have the answer, make sure you DON'T do that!. You don't want to have a predicitable story!. Think of plot twists and surprise endings (surprise killers), etc!. Just brainstorm like crazy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

they could either:
-they could just be getting to town and head straight to a party thats being hosted by the killer(but of course they dont know that) , the killer likes one of those girls looks, has a conversation with her, she says theyre planning on renting a cabin but are going to stay with another friend for the night, he insists they stay there, and action will start that night or they following days!.
-the killer could be watching them snowboard and then follow them when they start heading home

I think that maybe you need to have them all go up to the cabin and have a horror story that happened in the cabin a while back!. And then maybe it snows in and they think they start hearing or seeing things!. And no one is really there but they slowly go insane!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
