Seen it - thought it wasn't bad at all!. Music was really impressiveWww@Enter-QA@Com
I have to admit,it exceeded my expectations!. The cast was marvelous and Emmy Rossum was a lovely Christine!. Gerard Burler kicked hienie as The Phantom and Patrick Wilson was a stalwart Roul!. Patrica Richardson(who I had no dea could sing!) was great as madame Geray and Minnie Driver was a hoot as the tempermental twit of a diva!. The opening scen really set the stage with brilliant shot of the opera house coming back to life with the gas torches and thw dust and cobwebs being swept away!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, I have!.
It's one of my favorite movies!. The cast is superb; Emmy Rossum's voice is absolutely perfect, Gerald Butler captured the essence of the Phantom extremely well and he's a good singer, Minnie Driver was perfect as Carlotta, Rauoul was good, and the rest of the cast rocked!. The music is fabulous!. The story is touching, profound, and beautiful!.
Yeah!. Definitely one of my favorite movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I really liked it except for the girl they got to play Christine!. Everyone else seemed so perfect for the role, but Emma Rossum didn't have impressive enough vocals to match the Christine in my mind!. Especially since she is supposed to be better than Carlotta, who was played by Minnie Driver, but whose voice was a professional opera singer!. Rossum's a good singer, but just not pitch perfect for the role!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
