Does one have to be 17 to buy R-rated DVDs/tapes or does that only apply to buying a ticket at the theater!? If so, does the store clerk ask for an ID!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I believe it's 17 but heck, I was seeing R-rated movies when I was like 12 and they never checked ID!. I doubt they're going to check!. I've never gotten checked ID for anything! I've bought alcohol and I didn't get my ID checked and I don't even look young for 21!. If you're scared about getting checked ID, you could always buy your movies online!. It's probably even cheaper anyway like on sites like DeepDiscount!.com!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i know that to see a R rated movie in the theater you have to be 17 but i think to buy it it depends on where you live!. I heared some places its 17 and some places its 18!. and yes they usually ask for ID, cuz when they scan the dvd this thing pops up asking "is the costumer over 18"Www@Enter-QA@Com
