There will be three versions of the DVD which are the single disc edition, the two disc special edition, and the gift set!. The only extra material on the single disc edition are directors' audio commentary with Jimmy Hayward and Steve Martino and an Ice age short "Surviving Sid"!. The two disc special edition will include that along with a digital copy for Apple/Itunes/QuickTime/iPod and your PC and Windows media, Deleted footage and animation screen tests (with introductions and optional audio commentaries), That's one big elephant: Animating Horton, Bringing the characters to life, Meet Katie, Elephant fun: The facts, Our Speck: Do we fit in!?, A person is a person: A universal message, Bringing Seuss to screen, The elephant in the room: Jim Carrey and the We are here!: Game!. The gift set will include the two disc special edition along with a Horton plush!. The Blu-ray release will include the identical extras of the two disc special edition along with BD exclusives including "Watch Horton hears a who! With a who!" and a DVD-ROM extra Create your own animation!.
