Question: Does "Alien" represent scorned love!?
Hi I think the Ridley Scott movie Alien is fantastic!. I've watched it so much that I'm beginning to see metaphors!. See I think the Alien represents our curiosity in seeking the one true love!. But Ridley Scott is saying to us that True Love doesn't exist! It tooke me 10 viewings to figure this out but I'm planning on writing more about it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You can certainly put a feminist spin on it too; the man's(or Alien's) attentions threaten to destroy the object of his affections!. Frankly I think that's probably why the movie's still so popular!. There is so much about it, on so many levels that just captures the imagination of the audience!.
You should also take a look at some of H!.R!.Giger's original concept art, which is just overflowing with symbolism!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
