It can be!. Without question,it's one of the hardest careers to achieve and even harder to keep!. There are more actors than their are jobs for one thing!. A lot more and everyone who's deserving of a shot doesn't always get it!. It takes everything out of you and if you do get work,it means sitting for hours on end waiting for camera or sound set-ups or this or that thing going wrong and having to start over!. Plus there are loads of bottom feeders just ready and waiting to take advantage of someone's desparation with schemes to make it big almost all of them a sham!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Define brutal !? Any experienced actor knows the game going in!. I dont feel as though its brutal!. There are a great many actors out here trying for the same job, but look at professional sports !.!. How about the presidential race !? Any time that you have a limited number of spaces and a larger percentage of people shooting for those spaces, its not going to be pretty!. But I look at it like this!.!.!. If there are a million actors out here!.!.!. 1/2 of them are talented!. 500,000!. 1/2 are women!.!.!. not up for my role!. 250,000!. Take away the ones too young or too old for my parts!.!.!. and!.!.!.!. lets say 1000!. Of those, only maybe one hundred get called for the audition!. What if 99 of those arent ready or aren't talented or just cant walk the walk!.!.!. Heck, then its me!.!.!.!. Every audition you have to assume youre the right one for it or youre not!. Its a numbers game!. But do you think a surgeon walks into surgery thinking!.!.!. this is the one I botch !?
