Question: What movies was the song Greensleeves - a 16th century English folk song - used in!? It sounds very familiar!.!.!?
I am 100% sure I've heard the Greensleeves song (not the wording, only the music) in a movie!. Pirates of the Caribbean or Lord of the Rings, perhaps, but I can't recall, and it's driving me nuts! Here's a link to a youtube video with the song!. Listen carefully to the first part:

I have an ear for tunes, and I am 97% sure that Greensleeves is not played in LOTR or POTC!. They have some flute-songs in LOTR (Enya sings the theme), and they have some instrumentals in POTC, but I am sure they don't have Greensleeves!.

greensleeves has been around a very long time!. There is a body of opinion that says it was written by king Henry the 8th!. Whatever, it has been around since then!. In australia it is played by ice-cream vans so is very familiar!. It has been in lots of movies but I cannot remember any recently!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

However in "How the West was won" is incorporated into the score itself making it IMO one of the best used ones!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
