Yes, that's true -- John Carpenter wanted every Holloween to be a different story and all the sequels not involve Michael Myers!. But the first one was such a profitable film for the studios, they went ahead with Michael returning in part 2!. But in part 3, John Carpenter was able to have a different story told, but it was such a bomb, they brought Michael Myers back for the other sequels!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They were going to do all the Halloween movies as separate stories after pt!.2, but Season of the Witch did so badly at the box office they decided to bring Michael back!. At least that's what I read about it back then!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
