How scary is the first Saw movie?!

I don't think it was especially scary!. All of the major scares seem to try to rely on unsubtle shock direction techniques, and use of music!. The style in which it's filmed irritated me after the first half hour and had me frustrated by the time an hour was up!.
also, the story is not really that plausible- which is fine!.!.plenty of horror movies have unrealistic plots!. The thing is the questionable acting from some of the cast does very little to add any gravity or believability to an already somewhat far-fetched premise!.
The plot that relies heavily on a mysterious puzzles solving element and it attempts to give the viewer something to think about!. In the case of Saw however this is a double edged sword!. There are enough plot holes that anybody with the brains or will to try to unravel the mystery will become frustrated by the plot voids they find along the way long before they arrive at a conclusion!.
I sometimes compare it to Cube, though Cube is no masterpiece by any means, it is still more suspenseful and ultimately a better movie than Saw!.!.
Don't expect to be terrified!. If you are prepared to sit down and watch Saw without expecting anything other than some laughs and harmless entertainment then you will not be disappointed!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its not scary!. if you enjoy blood and gore then this movie is for you!. i just seen the 5th one and it was great!. i love how each sequel goes together and explains what happened in the last movie to keep you thinking and on your toes!. the 5th is nice and bloody and i will see it again and will buy it to go with the rest! hope this helps!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Its not really as scary as it is gruesome and clever
When I think of scary, I think of Halloween or The Ring

I think the acting is terrible and the film is one of the most boring so far!!! sorry but to me its true!.!.!.!.saw 3-4 are the best one's!!! eeek!! =DWww@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on what you classify as scary!.!.in my opinion it had plenty of blood and gore,but I wouldn't have said it was scary!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
