I know they aren't quite as old as you requested but they all beat the pants off of everything listed (with the exception of "A Christmas Story" which is the best Christmas movie ever!)
Rudolph The red Nosed Reindeer - the stop motion animated one from 1964
A year without Santa Claus - same animation style as above
One Magic Christmas - probably the saddest xmas movie ever, lots of death for christmas really!. but so well acted
Prancer - No idea why I love this one, maybe the close ups of velvetly antlers make me feel christmas-y
