Vincent has the same power as the child-character, to see dead people!. Dead people can sometimes be recorded on film or cassette, even though it's impossible to hear in real life!. Bruce Willis heard them on the tape!.

When Willis hears the dead on the tape, he gets emotional because he realizes that Vincent had this power and Willis ignored him, and also the child has this power!. He considers the tape to be "proof"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
