There are a whole bunch of good movies coming out this month and Warner Brothers already made a whole bunch of money with the Dark Knight!. They want that to happen with Half Blood Prince so they moved it to next year so that it could make more money!. There is barely anything coming out that is good next year in the summer so Harry Potter will soak up the cash!.

it was pushed back bc of twilight!. more people were excited about twilight that they gave it harry potters date and then harry potter got moved to july!. it also had something to do with the writers strike!. ergg i was mad!.!. but im excited 4 twilight!. new harry potter trailer on youtube 2 !!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, that is kind of right!. The real reason is that when the writer's strike ended, there was a hole put in Warner Bros!.' releases for July of 2009!. And since WB saw that Order of the Phoenix did so well in the summer, they decided to put Half-Blood Prince in the July lineup!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, some of those people are right!. It was pushed back for a number of reasons (most are listed above), but the main reason was that they actually weren't finished!.
There was a pre-showing in Chicago a couple weeks ago for a few lucky people (the complete article is here: http://www!.mugglenet!.com/movies/movie6/e!.!.!. and the viewers said the graphics weren't complete and there were some shots with even green screen still in them!.
Well, actually, the main reason is that Warner Bros!. is stupid and need to go die!. And they apparently hate the fans!.

Yeah!. they are trying to evenly distribute great movies, and though they would make a ton if both dark knight and happy potter come out they are looking out for their future!.
