Saw v plot hole? *spoilers*?!
Question: Saw v plot hole!? *spoilers*!?
i just watched saw 5 and the last seen didnt make sense to me!.
straum enters the room with the glass box and plays half the tape then sees hoffmans reflection and throws him in the box!. then plays the rest of the tape and dies!.
1!.) why didnt he listen to the whole tape
2!.) what if he had gotten in the box!? what would have happened to hoffman!. would he have entered the room and died!?
3!.) why did hoffman even bother comging to the room!.
4!.) this is what bugged me the most!. what did struam do wrong to deserve to be in a trap/test/game!? he didnt deserve that!. that trap wasnt saw like at all!.
5!.)why would saws legacy be stuck to him(surely his body would be found)
6!.)how the hell did hoffman get straums phone!? it looked like he got it from the evidence room or something!. WTF!? and why would the boss dude be all suspicious just cuz he got a call and then called back but it didnt answer!? **** like that happens all the time

I don't remember too much, but I'll try my best!.
1) I believe he heard Hoffman coming, so that's why he probably didn't listen to the whole recording!. He wanted to sneak attack him at least!.
2) Yes, Hoffman would have been the one to die if Strahm were to be the one in the box!.
3) Hoffman came in to make sure one way or the other, only one of them were alive!. (Hoffman obviously wanting to be the one alive)!. He knew if he was in there, Strahm would try to throw him in the box leaving Strahm to death!. If it were Hoffman who was left to death, Strahm would be alive, but was already framed for being Jigsaw's apprentice the whole time!.
4) Straum was supposed to be dead during his time in the warehouse!. He was an intelligent detective who was inching closer and closer near finding out who Jigsaw's apprentice was!. If he was left alive, knowing how intelligent he is, he would get out of the whole framed thing somehow!. Hoffman wanted to make sure that nothing was left of Strahm or no possible evidence!. There would be no existance of Strahm, so Hoffman would still be the "hero" coming out of all this!.
5) I didn't really get this question!. Do you mean towards Strahm or Hoffman!? If Strahm, his body would not be found since the door of the slammer room is shut closed and he is sadly squished in between the walls!. Therefore they would assume he ran away from all of them or Hoffman would say Strahm died, leaving Hoffman as the "hero" as he was supposed to!.
6) I also think the same about Hoffman getting Strahm's phone!. The boss being suspicious can be speculated as mind games!. He got suspicious when they tracked the cell phone and it lead to wherever the hell they were at!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
