Question: Twilight movie - why is it called "Twilight"!?
I went to see this movie with my wife and they never explained why it's called Twilight!. My wife says it's explained in the book, but I think it would have been a good idea to explain that in the movie, because I can tell you right now, I'm not going to read the book!.

Your wife was right about it being answered in the book!. I don't remember the page number it's on, but at one point in the novel Bella and Edward are in Edward's car!. Bella finally realizes that it's late at night and that Charlie would be coming home soon!. Edward then says things about how the twilight is the end of another day, something about night time and vampires (I think he says how it's the safest time for he and his coven), yadayada!. Sorry, my memory's not that clear, but I hope that helped you

I believe that in the book, it is kind of explained that Edward resents twilight because as a vampire, he can't sleep, and that is the beginning of the time that sets him apart from everyone else!. They talk about it after they go outside during prom, and it's twilight!.
