Being a good person will always prevail over dishonesty!.!.!.

Every child in the book that has any sort of personality is punished for it!. The poor child with no personality is rewarded!. It is better to be a good calm person than it is to be a person with ticks, habits, or OCD!.

Charlie Bucket; the bucket implies he is empty, waiting for someone to give him meaning and a purpose!. And Charlie is just a bland first name!.

Willy Wonka doesn't want a hellraiser loose in his factory; he wants somebody he can mold in his own image!. A piece of clay!. Charlie fits perfectly, since he is basically a blank sheet of paper, without any hobbies or traits whatsoever!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

After reading the answer of someone else, I found something!.

The other kids (who didn't win) were mostly greedy!.

Charlie Bucket HAS a personality : he's generous and has a great imagination which was crucial to Willy Wonka!. He still has his kid's heart (just like Willy Wonka, as a matter of fact!)

Unfortunately, I haven't read the book, I'm mostly basing my writing on the movie!.

Good luck with your school work!.
