well first of all have you read the book!?!?!?!? has the kid!?!? the whole thing is modern day Romeo and Juliet with vampires!.!.!.!. for a preteen maybe okay but for a 7 year old there are a lot of themes that may not be appropriate/ easy to understand for them!.

the "infamous scene" where Edward and Bella kiss for the first time (they fall onto her bed, but nothing happens)
There is no sex or nudity
Violence & Gore
several killings by "bad vampires" are off-screen (they attack, then it is told what happened)
the Tracker bites Bella and breaks her leg, but Edward ends up saving her, and the rest of the Cullen Family kills the Tracker (offscreen) by dismembering him and burning him alive (also offscreen)
Bella is almost hit by a car, but Edward saves her!.
Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking
Bella is surrounded by a group of men, who are drunk!. Edward saves her and tells her they were going to rape her!.
A man tosses a 6-pack of beer to another man!. A man is continually seen with a can of beer, but he is not drunk!.
Edward tells a Bella that the scent of her blood is like his "own personal brand of heroin," and that "it is like a drug" to him!.
Frightening/Intense Scenes

the main theme of a Human Girl being in love with a teenage Vampire may put-off some viewers, or those curious about the book series or the movie
its a good series but more for teenagers/adults because some of the concepts they deal with 'wanting to go further than just kissing' an such but i personally think it's too heavy for most kids!. watch it on your own to see for yourself if you think the kid can handle it or not!. if all else fails watch madagascar2 or Wall-e they're both family movies for adults AND kids:]

The only inappropriate scene was when Bella and Edward are kissing in Bella's room!. They did like the slowest attempt to kiss, and it looked like they were about to have it!. And it looked like Bella was in her underwear, so it is inappropriate for a 7 year old!. But the rest of the movie was awesome!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
A little too dark for a seven year old!. older humor and content would go over his/her head!. But Bella laying on the floor bleeding, while a vampire is being destroyed in the back round (aka getting ripped apart) would give her/him nightmares!. it has a few parts that were even intense for me, a 13 year old who has read all 4 books!. There is one scene where Bella and Edward are making out and Bella is in her underwear, but it is fairly short!. There are some intense fight scenes in the end though!. It is your choice on what you want your 7 year old to see, I think it would be okay!. Maybe have him/her close their eyes on those couple scenes if you decide it is inappropriate!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
i just got back from seeing it,i think it could be scary,james throws bella in2 mirrors,and then steps in her legs and breaks it!.Its probably a little evil 4 them,i luved the movie,but im 14,it would be hard 4 a 7year odl 2 keep up anyway!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
