Eddie Murphy and Shia LaBeouf have reportedly signed up for roles in the sequel to The Dark Knight!.
Beverly Hills Cop star Murphy has been tipped to play the Riddler, despite speculation that Johnny Depp would take on the role made famous by Jim Carrey in 1995's Batman Forever!.
"Eddie's a fantastic addition," an insider told The Sun!. "Everyone's excited to see what he does as the Riddler!."
Transformers actor LaBeouf has been linked with the part of Robin, the Caped Crusader's sidekick!.
The sequel is being produced under the working title of Gotham and has been slated for a 2010 release date!.

I dont think I will like Murphy as the Riddler nor would I like Labouf as Robin!. Labouf to me isnt a superhero sidekick nor is Murphy a superhero!. Johnny Depp would have done a much better job!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nolan said he would not do Robin and Catwomen as long as he is making these movies!. So that is another lie!.
They arent working under a title of Gotham because AGAIN! the project doesnt exist right now!.

Never understood WHY people like Shia LeBeouf so much!. The kid is WAY overrated, and would NOT make a good Riddler!.

No offence to people who think it would be a good move, but IMO, i think that apparently lining 'eddie murphy' up as the riddler could lead to this movies downfall!.
IMO i think they are many 'better' actors (etc) who could have been given the role!. Here's a few of them,
- Jonny Depp (personally i feel that this would have been the best choice)
- Jim Carrey (Love this guy, and dont see anything wrong with asking him to reprise his role)
- Will Ferrell (becoming a huge fan of his movies)
- Tim Minchin (a comedian, who i feel would be awesome in this role)
- Robert Englund (aka freddy krueger, if you wanted to put a twist on the character)
Btw, i feel that LaBeouf as Robin is a good choice (and rachel weisz was awesome in the mummy so no complaints there either :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
