The movie isn't 'based' on true events as they led you to believe!. The writer of the film said it was 'inspired' by true events!. Apparently he got the idea from a childhood experience!. Someone knocked on his door and asked for someone that didn't live there!. Later, a string of burglaries occured in his neighborhood!.

I seen the movie and I was kind of Disappointed with the ending because i kinda wished someone would have lived or got away, I mean there were so many chances when they could have gotten away but I won't get into all those details!. Well any ways at the end when Liv Taylor says why are you doing this the girl said " Because you were home" and I don't think that the three people doing the killing were mother, daughter, and father but that's just my opinion, but when she said"It will be Easier next time", that means they were going to do it again which means there will probably a sequel to the movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Smart Cat: No!. The movie is not based upon a real life story!. The person who wrote the movie, as a child, once answered the door to total strangers!. He then learned that several homes in the neighborhood that same day had been robbed!. The killings and whatnot that you see in the movie,,,,,,no,,,,,based on no such real event!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

but either way, I thought the movie was really really stupid, it had not plot, no point, and was the farthest thing from a scary movie, in fact all the ppl with the masks looked so retarted it made me laugh once or twice!.

yea!. it is a true story!. my brother was telling me that someone actually video taped it!. not the actual killing but them like knocking and freaking out and breaking in!. but its pretty creepy i would have to say!.

Well all I know is that it was one of the worst horror movies I've seen!. It probably was based on true events i mean advertisements can't lie either way!. The mom probably told the daughter it would be easier next time as in it would be easier to kill her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
