The guy who caught Joker (forgot his name), when he was promoted to a commissioner and everyone clapped their hands, he looked at Joker he [heroically] caught, and the Joker was clapping! I taught that the irony was hilarious!. Didn't you!?
A joke must be "get"!. Its hard to explain it!. He caught Joker after saving the Mayor and faking his death to entrap him!. They promoted him into commissioner and Joker was applauding! It was hilarious for me!. Maybe because they caught him and because the Joker has a good sense of humor!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah, that was pretty good!. When I saw it in theaters everyone laughed (and I guess we still do whenever we watch it)!.
If you look inot it a little further, you'll find out that the Joker clapping wasn't in the script!. He was just supposed to be sitting in his cell while everyone else is clapping!. During the take, Heath Ledger just decided to clap and the producers liked it and kept it!. That's 100% acting genius!

the joker was clapping because jim gordon caught him and gordon got promoted to commish, what i thought was funnny was that the joker planned on getting caught to get the asian guy out of jail!. so gordon was promoted for catching a guy who wanted to get caught!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The entire movie was a waste of my time!. Only part I liked is when Joker told Batman he wouldn't kill him!. Made me think of the one Batman cartoon when they thought Batman had been killed!. Joker held that funeral saying that crime had no meaning anymore!. Now THAT was funny!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
