to tell you the truth... no body knows what it is!! there are tons of people starting up theories on what monster it might be or what the whole movie is about. all i can tell you is that it is NOT Godzilla since Paramount doesn't own the rights to it. And that it is going to be something totally new and never seen before. Seeing how JJ Abrams is so unpredictable especially with Lost, i would expect him to be the same with this movie. we'll just have to wait until January 18, 2008 and i can't wait.
if you are still curious, there are videos on youtube and message boards in IMDB about but don't try to go to far into it. my only advice is just wait until it comes out.
