I want to setup a home recording studio?

Hi,

I have finally decided to give this whole youtube thing a go, and want to start laying some of my tracks down but have not got a clue what equipment/software to buy . I want to spend about £500 maybe more on everything needed and already have a Good PC and video camera so they are off the list.

I will be using a Washburn EA18 sometimes in an amp which i will also need suggestions on buying, and then just acoustic which will be the majority of the time.

So from what i have read i think i will need a microphone, software, amp and anything else you suggest.

It's a mine field - You'll need some sort of pre-amp and interface to hook your mics/guitars up to the computer........

Personal opinion - check out some of the presonus stuff

A lot of gear comes with LE software which is perfectly fine for small projects - and for getting to grips with the basics..
