Question:
ATTENTION: Can you use your imagination for me?
If you are familar with the Guns n Roses song "Sweet Child O'Mine". Would it seem to weird to bet played blue grass?
I am not joking.
Imagine the beginning where the guitar comes in if it was played with a fiddle. The lyrics sung in traditional bluegrass style. Instruments mandolin, banjo, upright base, and acoustic guitar.
In my head I can imagine playing it. How do you think bluegrass country fans will take it?
Answers:
I know that it would sound amazing. It is one of those songs that definately needs a banjo. When I hear the original song, I almost think it has a slight gospel feel to it, and gospel songs sound beautiful when played blue-grass style. It would fit in well movies such as 'O Brother, Where Art Thou'.
'Flashover' has a good idea: I have the CD 'Hayseed Dixie'. It is a bluegrass tribue to ACDC. It will help you figure out how that song would sound.
