Light piano?!
Question:
Light piano?
im making my parents an anniversary dvd with videos and photos from their wedding, i was thin king of putting some music on it, and i was wondering what you guys thought was a good song, perferably no words, and with a light piano in it.
definetly not the wedding march, and their wedding song is out of the question. i was thinking something like Avril 14th by aphex twins? let me know what you think!
Answers: This is classical section...
No words is easy! (Except vocal pieces...but...)
Claude Debussy's Clair de Lune is a must!
This is a very touching song, and will gurantee good results (it's about 4-6 minutes, depending on the musician -some faster than others).
Anything else by Debussy is good for Wedding...
Also try Grieg, he wrote some romantic music (unlike all those Norwegian Marches :D) (I Have to suggest my favourite composer!)
Or Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 --The Second Movement, Simply beautiful, I would use this, it is so nice (it runs about 11 minutes)
I have some of these songs on my playlist on Windows Media Player, if you want some, just e-mail me :)

-matt if that doesn't work out you could always go with ozzy. Since this is in the Classical Music section of Yahoo! Answers, there are a number of classical pieces for piano that could work. I've listed below the names of some composers who have written pieces for piano. If you're looking for a more contemporary slant on the music, try any of George Winston's CDs -- he's mostly piano and isn't classical, but a lot of the pieces are full of feel-good, warm and fuzzy music. Try to search for piano music by these people:
Claude Debussy, Beethoven, Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, Sergei Rachmaninoff (or Rachmaninov), Franz Schubert, Franz Liszt, G.F. Handel You could go with the anniversary waltz. many piano pieces are apt. But if I were playing for an anniversary I would play that for sure. chopin is very romantic or brahms
