you dont have to like him, but respect and give props whens its been due. Like I said before I will not deny that he is unique and he does make hits, but as far as producing hardcore beats he should not even be considered on the level. All those songs you listed were more commercial and more on the r&b level for others. His songs usually annoy me pretty fast. Never said he did not have talent, but there are far more better producers than Timbaland.
I am still not a huge fan of Timbaland and his production. He did better production on Justin Timberlake's and nelly Furtado's albums than he did with his own. Some of those tracks with the rappers were some of the worse songs. Beat wise and lyrics it was commercial. hahaha, it just proves how he wack he is. The real nice producers bring the best out of the rhymer. You just listed some of Nas and Jay's wackest songs. Is this just Hater Tuesday...jeez....CONGRATULATE NOT HATE!!!

He made classic songs with Aaliyah, Missy, a bunch of people....he sampled he did original production....what more can he do?
I mean I can be a hater too and say that Premo sucked bc he just sampled....how hard is it to take other cats beats and "chop" em....what the f uck is that....at least Timbaland is ORIGINAL....but then again I am not a HATER....jeez... been in love with timbaland music who knows how long.
he goes from rnb music, to creating missy albums, to hiphop songs, to now dance and pop song (which is a smart investment)
i like his variety, took the 90's with hiphop and rnb, and around later 2000 he took pop. but think about hiphop is pop too now a days.

i can honestly say dr. dre and timbaland in same sentence:-).they both done alot for 90's and 2000 music. of course he's one of the best producers ever in my opinion i like how his beats are cool and crazy. he's orginal. I love that song with game and timba and nelly furtado 2.
