Are you talking about TLC? Lisa "left eye" Lopes. She died in a car accident not a plane crash. Aaliyah died in a plane crash but she was not in a group. Melanie from La Bouche died in a plane crash but that group was not R&B. Good Luck!

You're probably thinking of Left-Eye, aka Lisa Lopes, from the group TLC. They were big in the mid to late 90's. She did not die in a airplane accident though, but a car crash in Honduras. She was the only victim who sustained fatal injuries from the accident because she was thrown out of the vehicle.
