Anybody know what's happened to Glenn Barber?!
Question: I just love his song, The Man On Susie's Mind. I wish I could find it on CD somewhere, but alas, I fear it's among the dead and dying unknowns that will never be translated to binary. Is he still alive, or what?

Dan I haven't heard anything about Glenn Barber since last year when he had a heart attack just before he was scheduled to go overseas and do some entertaining. His son Glenn Jr. did play drums for Tanya Tucker for awhile. Great question and I'll ask around. My friend Bobby Lawson should know as they are both in the rockabilly hall of fame. Also you can try Bear Family Records out of Germany as I do know they re-issued some of Glenn's material. I have ordered from them before and they are very fast at shipping your order out.
On Edit: Dan here is a link where you can get that record on a 45 but I haven't bought anything from them so I can't tell you anything other than that. It might be worth sending them an email if you are interested. Hope that this helps:
