In guitar pedals, is fuzz and distortion the same thing?!
Question: I dont think so. I think that fuzz makes it fuzzy, like a bad radio channel, kinda. And distortion makes it higher and lower.

actually there not. and it's really hard to explain the difference but WAY back when, Ernie Isley ) of the Isley Brothers ) used a fuzz pedal alot in their early albums like " Go For Your Guns " He also used it on a song called " Who's That Lady " A distortion pedal is like your amp is cranked wide open but not blasting your windows out.
