Am I the only black girl who listens to metal/rock?!
Question: I get mad sometimes about this because I'm the only black girl thats listens to metal/rock. its like the only music i listen to really. all the ppl around me are the same and i hate it. but i do see some black guys that listen to it but not black girls. and i get pissed off when someone assumes i listen to rap or rnb because i dont really. but if u ask me im the only black girl on the face of the earth that likes rock/metal. lol

You aren't the only black girl who listens to metal/rock. From what I've seen, they're several in this section. Besides who cares that you don't fit a stereotypical role for a black person?

You're not the only one, I'm right there with you! My mom and my family think I'm weird, because I listen to rock. When I said I bought tickets to a rock concert, my mom was making all these weird faces at me saying that I like all those "white people". I mean, it's not my fault that not many black people make rock music, because if there were and they were good I would so be listening to them!
You're definitely not the only one. There are quite a few others here in R&P. ^_^
Not only do I know of black girls that like Rock and I know of several that play it!

It's sad, but true. You are the only black girl on the planet who likes metal/rock music. You're kinda' like a giant panda roaming aimlessly. Don't use any heavy machinery or drive a car because you are the last! We can't afford to lose you!

The bands on your 360 profile aren't Metal by the way. They are just pop "nu metal bands" also known as New Age Metal or wanna be mainstream watered down false metal controlled by the music corporation. But no you aren't the only black girl that listens to rock and metal there are a lot. Your ego of Metal has fallen down by someone who is actually a true metal fan, you now know why you're not a true Metal fan.
