i don't get that line either but i guess Pete Wentz wrote this song for his ex- girlfriend Jeanae White. He really LOVED her and the memories may have been great but now everytimehe thinks about her, he suffers pain. This is because she cheeted on him. He remembers the past that wasnt good, like when Pete had the whole exposed thing and his suicide attempt. He's trying to look forward to the future but it's hard to since all he seems to see is the past.
