lyrically no he isnt but as a artist yeah what has he really done but beef with a bunch of people if would have stayed focused or had better guidance he could've been up there with jay-z lil wayne and kanye west

man the games the **** dont mess with him

it looks like you riding on cassidys d!ck.
    between cassidy and the game.
i rather listen to the game.
    the game is more hardcore.

The Game isn't that overrated, I haven't heard from him in a while. The only news I heard from him this summer was that he was making his last album this year. Other than that I still am listening to the Doctor's Advocate. I mean, "Wouldn't Get Far" is the best song I have ever heard from him, because most of the time his rapping kind of sounds the same (compare "Playa's Only" by R. Kelly feat. The Game to "How We Do" by The Game feat. 50 Cent).

No definently not he just hasnt came out with a new album lately. His last album the Doctor's Advocate is sick. Everyone should check that out. He's been releasing alot mixtapes. He worked with Lil Wayne on one who is at the top of Hip-Hop right now. The Game is working with many new rappers like Clyde Carson and VL Mike. He is building up like 50 Cent did with G-Unit. Game is far from overrated.

I don't think he is overrated and I am certainly not a huge fan, but I respect his lyrical abilities. He just happens to be a great lyricist saying gangsta rhymes. Most dope lyricist have not traditionally been gangster rappers.

I would put him in the category lyrically with Jay Z, KRS-One, Redman, Kurupt, etc... based on his delivery, word composition and freestyle abilities.

I AGREE WITH bIONIC. i dont think hes overratted. i think he is a lyricist, but i dont think he's the best in the game. but then again rap is getting pretty weak.he surprised me with how competitive and how hard his diss tracks were. but i think the man definetly has talent. im questioning his "gansta persona", but hey it is what it is

SIT DWN JUST LISTEN TO THE GAME-MY TURN DT WILL ANSWER UR QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!! MOCKERY

i have tended to think he was overrated somewhat. I got to say though that 300 bars was a definite accomplishment in hip hop. That is what made me like him I listened to that shiz for a min and there is no denying the bad assness of that song. I fell off it when he would keep focusing on 50 and thought damn man try and rap about somethin else. I recently downloaded an album hosted by him and cali untouchable djs(which are the shiz) and he has changed up and I have renewed faith in his game. You should give it a shot you can download it at undergroundinnertainment.com for free if you search through the mixtapes section.

    i think he's good

but he does have really stupid moments
and he's not extraordinary and breathtaking or anything like that
but he's not overrated, i think the hype around him is just right. hell of a lot more people were on ja's d!ck when he was mainstream and famous or on 50s... or even on souljah boys
