What Type O Negative album has the LONG version of Black No. 1 on it?!
Question: I've been listening to their album Life is Killing Me for a while, and while Bloody Kisses wasn't my taste of their music, i came across the song Black No. 1 on a modded version of guitar hero 2 my friend had, and from there i found the mp3 on somebody's personal web page using altavista's audio search and it's a really poor quality, like really quiet but with high pitch distortion that prevents you from turning it louder, same as the guy had put into GH2, but when i bought it from iTunes it was, instead of being 11:13 long, only something like half that, and had alot of my favorite parts deleted out, such as the redoing the intro to delete the wailing "She Wiiiiiilllllllilil" or guitar parts. When i looked at some albums at Best Buy, on the back it also listed the short track time (Best of Type O Negative) so i'm wondering where this track originated? It doesn't sound live.

That's where it originated.

The albums released pre-Bloody Kisses are a completely different sound style.
RoadRunner released 2 different versions of Bloody Kisses back in the day. The original is the one you'll find nowadays I imagine.
When Black No 1 and Christian Woman took off at radio, RoadRunner re-released the album with edited-down songs and several tracks deleted altogether, because they felt the true album was too meaty for the typical radio-listening clown.
Make sure you get the full album from a store, and load it in iTunes yourself.
Also pick up Slow Deep and Hard, and Origin of the Feces
"Black No. 1" is on the Bloody Kisses album. There are 2 different versions of this album...The first version comes in a cardboard package with 2 girls kissing on the cover. The CD contains about 9 songs. The OTHER version that came out later comes in a standard jewel case and features the same 2 girls in a "almost kissing" position. This version of the CD features 14 tracks (though most of them are just filler). But this is the version I own and "Black No.1" clocks in somewhere around 10 or 11 minutes. As far as I know, the song is the same on both versions of Bloody Kisses.
