Try going to a hardware store with your old screws, and see if you can get a screw slightly bigger, that will re-grip when you install it. Or explain the scenario to them, they may know of a wood filler you can use to fill the hole, or a tap, then re-thread the original screws.

Music shop would know how to fix your prob, but it's likely they would over complicate it and charge you more as a specialty thing. A simple hometown hardware store would probably be your best bet.

This could be an easy fix, or a big problem. I would just go to a music shop. Good luck.

get some taps from a hardware store and re-tap the hole with the same size thread. This should clear it up.

I'm guessing you have a solid body. Your pickups wouldn't have threaded mounting holes. The holes on the pickups would be passthrough and the actuall threading would be into the wood. If this is true, then the wood is stripped where the pickups mount. Easiest fix for this would be to purchase some screws that are the same diameter but longer. Obviously, you don't want to buy screws that are longer than the guitar body is thick.

Ouch...better go to a guitar shop...don't try to do anything, could make matter's worse.
