Answers: with your own money?

vinyl

It was 1982 and I bought three vinyl singles...Pac Man Fever (I know...pretty embarrassing, but I was 12 and Pac Man was in!), Journey's Open Arms, and Dan Fogleberg's Leader of the Band. And yes, my own money. My parents actually "screened" them when I got home from the mall. They didn't love Open Arms, but let me keep it anyhow!

Thanks for reminding me...I needed the laugh! :-)

Roxette: Joyride

it was vinyl and it was either Madonna or Cyndi Lauper!

The first album that I got was a CD--"Oops! I Did It Again" and "Baby One More Time." Yeah, Britney rocked when I was in fifth grade. The first real album I bought was Clay Aiken's first album--"Measure of a Man."

The first cd I bought was Sheryl Crow's first album. The first vinyl I bought was Tom Petty's 'Damn the Torpedoes' something to that extent lol. All I know is that I loved it and still do! First cassette was Def Leppard's 'Hysteria' woo-hoo! That's good stuff!

Now, I am giving a lot away telling you this, but.........

It was Buddy Holly and the Chirping Crickets, it was vinyl an LP and if I still had it it would be worth about £600.

Oh happy days.......................

The 1st CD I ever bought was the Backstreet Boys Millennium album.... I was in the 5th grade, and I really liked the Backstreet Boys, and still do!! It was a CD, because 8tracks, and vinyl's aren't around anymore.... and cassette tapes just stopped being made around 2000..... so yeah.... and soon Cd's will be obsolete, but that's only a matter of time...
